Rules are set out for each practice to ensure the health and safety of our athletes.
The rules are there to make the practices fun, safe and productive. Breaking our rules could result in you being asked to leave the team.
+ Always respect your coaches and fellow cheerleaders. Treat people the way you expect to be treated.
+ No jewellery can be worn during training. Bringing jewellery into the practice hall is at your own risk and coaches will not be responsible for any items lost or stolen.
+ Correct kit must be purchased and worn during practices. No denim items allowed as it restricts movement. Shoes must be worn but in the event of shoes being forgotten, you must remove your socks during training.
+ Cheerleaders must not have gum, sweets, cough sweets or other such edible or non-edible items, which may cause choking, in their mouth during practice.
+ Any food or drink items brought into the gym must be removed at the end of training. Do not leave your empty bottles behind for the coaching staff to pick up!
+ Please arrive atleast 5 minutes before your session starts. If you are consistently late you may be asked to leave the team.
+ Follow the stunt safety rules taught by your coaches at all times. Not listening to the directions given may result in serious injury to you or your flyer.
+ MOBILE PHONES MUST BE TURNED OFF AND LEFT IN YOUR BAG!
+ We believe in a team first, positive attitude, and feel one of our greatest strengths is team chemistry. Negative attitudes, bullying, and selfish behaviour could lead to expulsion from the team.
As this is our last ever season I would like us to do as many competitions as possible. However, it all comes down to whether we can afford it. Check back here for the competitions your team will be attending.
