OUR COACHES

At East Coast Tigers, we are proud to have a fantastic team of dedicated coaches who are passionate about the sport and committed to helping every athlete reach their full potential. Our coaches bring many years of experience, both as coaches and as athletes themselves, giving them valuable insight into training, development, and competition.

All of our coaches are BGU qualified and hold enhanced DBS checks. They are also fully qualified in first aid and trained in safeguarding, ensuring a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all athletes.

JUNIOR COACH PROGRAMME

We also run an extensive Junior Coach Programme, designed for athletes who are interested in developing their leadership and coaching skills.

Athletes aged 12–17 can apply to become Junior Coaches, assisting our lead coaches during weekly classes. These roles are advertised each season and provide a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to gain experience, build confidence, and develop valuable skills.

Some Junior Coaches assist with our competitive teams, while others support our recreational classes. We place each Junior Coach where they feel most comfortable, while also ensuring they are challenged and given opportunities to grow and learn.
Our Junior Coaches are important role models within the gym and are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of behaviour, both inside and outside of training.

To express your interest in becoming a Junior Coach for our programme and for more information about how you can take the step into coaching, please e-mail jess@eastcoasttigers.co.uk
