Our Coaches are all extremely passionate about cheerleading and about supporting our athletes as they learn and grow within the sport. All of our coaches are BGU qualified, DBS checked and first aid trained. Between them they hold many years of experience, with all but one of our coaches having competed with East Coast Tigers over the years.
We have an extensive Junior Coach programme, which allows athletes who express an interest in coaching to become young leaders and assist our lead coaches in their weekly classes. Junior Coach roles are open to current athletes aged 12-16 and we advertise for these roles each season. Some of our Junior Coaches assist with our competitive teams and others assist with our Recreational & Tiny teams. We put our Junior coaches where they feel most comfortable, but also where we think they will grow and learn as much as they can. Our Junior Coaches are role models to all of our athletes and are expected to hold themselves to the highest standards both in and out of the gym.
